The Workshop
Ultimate Leadership is a highly effective leadership workshop developed by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend to accelerate personal and professional growth. Based on biblical principles of leadership and character development, this one-week intensive has been proven to achieve significant personal revelation and profound shifts in behavior. You will learn new and powerful ways to attain relational and professional success.

Our definition of leadership is quite broad. We believe that a leader is anyone whose work influences the lives of others. This would include pastors, business professionals, ministry leaders, lay leaders, community leaders, educators, medical or legal professionals, supervisors, and managers - as well as those who are making a career transition or facing major changes. Our attendees are from all professions and all walks of life; and they come from all over the world. 1) face and repair personal issues affecting your work and personal life
2) deepen understanding of the spiritual growth process
3) learn and internalize a model of growth that is rooted in biblical theology
4) go past information-based learning and experience real transformation
5) gain exposure to other leaders and highly qualified teachers
6) formulate a plan for continued personal and professional growth
What to expect
Ultimate Leadership is a workshop designed to help you break away from distractions and well-established routines that hinder your spiritual and personal growth. Our hope is that you would have time to be still and listen to the Lord. For this reason, there will no cell-phone calls during sessions.
The Workshop Model
The Bible and proven scientific research assert that growth occurs when new information is combined with new experience. Ultimate Leadership uses this model, combining dynamic teaching sessions with process groups. These groups, led by highly-trained professionals, allow you to take the information to a deeper level, as it relates to your own life and leadership.
We require confidentiality; you will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement before you arrive. This is important for creating an environment of trust and safety.
Teaching Sessions
The teaching sessions are taught by either Dr. Henry Cloud or Dr. John Townsend. Most teaching sessions are live; a few are DVD presentations.
Process Groups
Ultimate Leadership specializes in process groups designed to
1) teach a dynamic new approach to overcoming roadblocks to success,
2) establish an environment of personal growth for every participant,
3) create a safe setting for self-expression,
4) encourage honesty within the group, providing an atmosphere of grace and truth.
Professional facilitators guide the sessions; therefore the training and structure may change at any time based on the specific needs and goals of the group.
Schedule
There may be occasional variations in the schedule, but you can expect to start each day with breakfast at 7:00 a.m. There are normally two teaching sessions and two or three process groups each day. After dinner, your evenings are free. We encourage you to use that time to reflect on what you have been learning during the day. Beyond that, expect to see God and His Body do an amazing work in you!
